Adhesive joints that are neither visible nor palpable: our high-tech adhesives are formulated in such a way that they preserve and in some instances even enhance the positive properties of the foam. For example, the comfort of seats and mattresses is often improved by the fact that the adhesive remains soft and is thus not felt. Flame retardant adhesives also improve the level of safety in aircraft, trains, and ships. Others lose their colour after bonding, so that foams can be covered with bright or thin fabrics.
